How to replace

Step 1. Remove SIM card tray.

Step 2. Remove back cove. There is strong adhesive underneath back cover, so use heat gun to soften the adhesive firstly, then use suction cup to open a gap and insert guitar picks to cut the adhesive.

Step 3. Twist off 10 Phillips screws all and loosen NFC antenna and flashlight clip.

Step 4. Remove back frame. Taking away the small plastic bracket, then be careful to remove back frame.

Step 5.Remove front camera and rear camera.

Step 6. Remove loudspeaker.

Step 7. Pry up motherboard assembly. Disconnect charging port connector and remove the plastic bar firstly.There are three flexes connecting the motherboard, pry up motherboard assembly from left side on the bottom.

Step 8. Remove motherboard assembly. Pull out the audio jack from the slot and disconnect LCD flex connector and main flex connectors. Then be free to separate motherboard assembly from middle housing.

Step 9. Loosen side button clips carefully, then loosen noise canceling microphone and adhesive underneath main flex assembly. Take away the whole assembly.

Step 10. Remove metal bracket securing power button, then disconnect fingerprint sensor connector connecting with the main flex.

Step 11. Here is the fingerprint scanner flex, it attaches a rubber bracket. You can remove your damaged fingerprint sensor flex and install with this new one.
