Description

-Repair tools needed: Heat gun or hair dryer, guitar picks, Phillips screwdriver, Torx screwdriver.

How to replace

Step 1. Power off your phone.

Step 2. Remove the SIM card tray and SD card tray.

Step 3. Heat up the top and bottom loudspeaker mesh and then remove them.

Step 4. Unscrew two Phillips screws on the top and four Torx screws on the bottom.

Step 5. Insert the guitar pick to pry open a gap on the bottom.

Step 6. Pry open up the front assembly from the rear case.

Attention: There are many hidden keys along four sides. Unlock them carefully.

Step 7. Separate the rear case from LCD assembly.

Step 8. Undo two Phillips screws upon the battery & loudspeaker connectors.

Step 9. Remove the battery connector and loudspeaker connector.

Step 10. Undo one Torx screw under the loudspeaker connector.

Step 11. Cut the adhesive under the motherboard and the adhesive under the frame.

Step 12. Remove the loudspeaker.
