Description

-Repair tools needed: Heat gun, suction cup, torx screwdriver, Philips screwdriver and guitar picks.

How to replace

Step 1. Power off your phone.

Step 2. Remove the SIM card tray and SD card tray.

Step 3. Heat up the top and bottom loudspeaker mesh and then remove them.

Step 4. Unscrew two Phillips screws on the top and four Torx screws on the bottom.

Step 5. Insert the guitar pick to pry open a gap on the bottom.

Step 6. Pry open up the front assembly from the rear case.

Attention: There are many hidden keys along four sides. Unlock them carefully.

Step 7. Separate the rear case from LCD assembly.

Step 8. Remove all connectors related to the motherboard.

Step 9. Undo three Torx screws fasten on the motherboard.

Step 10. Remove the motherboard.

Step 11. Remove the black bracket on the daughterboard.

Step 12. Release the vibrator connector.

Step 13. Remove the vibrator.
