In the heating test, I put my oneplus 5T on a heating machine which is set on 100℃. The phone is heated for more than 4 minutes. I measured the temperature of oneplus 5T once per minute. You can see the changing of temperatures of CPU and screen. The temperature of CPU go up to 67℃ and the device is still working normally.
After heating up the phone, I let my OnePlus 5T free cool down and measured the temperatures once per 5 minutes. The device cooled down quickly in the first 5 minutes.
In my water tests of OnePlus 5T, I splashed water all over the handset, washed and immerse OnePlus 5T for a while. And after the tests I torn down the device to see the water damage inside the phone. We found that OnePlus 5T is splash resistant, but it is definitely not water resistant. My suggetion is : Don’t put your OnePlus 5T into water, even for a little while.
